Let me ask you this, if you went to a Drs. office, sat down, and he didn't ask you a single question but handed you a script.... would you fill it???
NO.......
Sometimes that is how we share our links in Young Living. We get so excited when someone says they are interested in our products we instantly send a link without asking any further questions. They do not fill that order because we did not ask questions to ensure that our products fit their needs.
Below I am going to give you an example conversation, and you can take ideas on how to ask questions from it.
Me- "Hey Sally, I saw your comment on my posts about the 14 Day Reset. It is hard to be vulnerable with the areas I am needing to see change in, but when I see comments like yours, I am encouraged to keep sharing. So, thank you for that! I would love to share what I have been doing with you to see if this is something you would like to do with me?"
Sally- "Yeah I would be interested in learning more, for sure. Who doesn't need to lose a few lbs and gain more energy?"
Me- "You got that right. So tell me more about your current health and what areas you want to see improved?"
Sally- "Well like I said I want to lose some lbs & I need more energy, but I struggle with diets because of sugar cravings."
Me- "Oh girl I feel yeah there. I used to be a chocaholic. I really feel the 1 supplement we use is the key to controlling my sugar cravings. Also my energy levels are incredible, and it lasts all day. Tell me what have you done in the past that didn't work for you? I want to make sure that I am helping you the best I can."
Sally- "I did Keto I liked it but could not stick to it long term."
Me- "Oh yeah Keto is good for quick results, but can we really live on bacon and cheese forever..." (Some may actually say yes lol) "What does your current eating plan look like?"
Sally- "Not good I drink a lot of soda and coffee drinks to keep me going. I also feel so hungry during the evening like I am never full."
Me- "Gotcha. I swear I started just like you. I had no energy, needed to lose lbs,but nothing worked long term. My sugar and food cravings ruled my life to the point of obesity and a level of hating my body that it then affected my marriage and relationships. I personally had to have accountability. I needed someone to guide me because I felt so lost. Sally, I would love to be that person for you as someone else was for me. Would you like me to send you all the details on the 14 Day reset so you can take a look at it?"
Sally- "Yes that would be great..."
Me- "Great! Here is a link to learn more about the Reset and see other powerful testimonies, so that you see this isn't just me having success. We have thousands doing this with us monthly and the results don't lie. I fully believe you too can be one of these incredible testimonies. (share this link)"
Recognizing the power of questions
It is crucial in connecting with your audience. It's about getting to know them personally - understanding their past challenges with diets, their current goals, and how we can demonstrate that our reset has helped others achieve similar objectives. Feel free to share any inspiring testimonies, including links from the sneak peek group, to illustrate these successes.
Notice how starting with empathetic acknowledgment of a problem, relating to it personally, and then offering a solution that addresses their specific concerns can be impactful. This approach wraps their issues in a solution that’s both appealing and practical, reinforcing that this system can truly aid them. Emphasizing real human connections is key - we're not just selling a product; we're offering a pathway to better health and well-being.
Focus on Connection, Not Selling
In today's online world, where sales pitches are everywhere, it's crucial to shift your approach. People often develop 'sales resistance' when they feel bombarded by direct selling tactics. Avoid overt sales messages in your content, like "DM me for more info on the sale." These can be off-putting and discourage engagement.
Instead, aim for content that creates 'me-too' moments. Let your audience see themselves in your stories and experiences. When they relate to you, they're more likely to reach out. Remember, your primary goal isn't to sell, but to change lives, and this system is a powerful tool to do just that.
Engaging in Private Conversations
The key is to draw people into personal, authentic conversations in your inbox. Focus on sharing your journey and connecting genuinely with as many individuals as possible. This approach fosters trust and builds relationships, moving away from public selling to meaningful private dialogues. Your ultimate goal? To engage in as many real, heartfelt conversations as you can. This is where true impact and change happen.
